May   2006 till date: Founder Partner and CEO, NeoBioMed Services, providing consultancy and services related to regulatory affairs, technology transfer and entry India issues for APIs, pharmaceuticals, biopharmaceuticals, medical devices including bioimplants, regenerative medicine and tissue engineering including stem cell research and application, designing GMP, GLP, containment facilities and other related commercial activities and businesses. Services include complete solutions for import and export of bulk drugs, related regulatory issues involving government dealings, securing registration of manufacturing plant, products and formulations, grant of test license, approvals of protocols for BE / CT and issues of final permissions for manufacturing & marketing.

As Advisor/Director of a number of academic/ industrial organizations, support is provided for promotion and application of biological sciences including biomedical, bio-agri, bio-industrial, bio-ventures, bio-defence and allied services including policy matters.

At the Department of Biotechnology, Ministry of Science and Technology, Government of India, represented number of International and National bodies and Committees related to International Co operations: Strategic Policy Decisions/Analysis: Biodefence: Biosafety Groups: Research Councils including drug development and environmental sciences etc. Actively involved with number of committees developing national policies on biotechnology including ethical issues for human and animals and development of National Guidelines for Stem Cell Research and Therapy in India and review of policies.

Actively associated with the programmes of the Ministry of External Affairs and the Ministry of Home Affairs on Biodefence including Biological Weapons and represented India as an Expert in the U.N. meetings at Geneva on issues related to implementation of protocol for the Biological and Toxin Weapons Convention (BTWC).

Coordinated premiere research institutions of DBT including the National Institute of Immunology, New Delhi; National Brain Research Institute, Gurgaon, Haryana; National Centre for Cell Sciences, Pune and the Centre for Diagnostics and Finger Printing, Hyderabad. Also Liaison Officer for the International Centre of Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB), New Delhi component from India; the centre set up by UNDP under the UN System.

Presently I am associated with committees and activities of Institute of Defense Research Analysis (IDSA), National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) and Defense Research Development Organization (DRDO).

As CEO and Founder Partner of "NeoBioMed Services", I provide consultancy and services related to complete solutions for import and export of bulk drugs, APIs, other intermediaries and chemicals including the regulatory issues involving government dealings. I help in securing registration of manufacturing plant of Bulk drugs, products and formulations for ultimate Import of the drugs into the country; Grant of test license for drugs, approvals of Protocols for BE / CT and issues of final permissions for Manufacturing & Marketing of Bulk drugs & Formulations, Issue of Import license, Export permission for drugs including locally banned items from Ministry of Health.

NeoBioMed Services help in developing any commercial relations with an Indian pharma / biopharma / medical device company adhering to International Standards and Norms and WHO-GMP and may require interactions with concerned ministries of the government, trades and Indian embassies/ missions for business development. We are already involved in related regulatory issues with the Ministry of Health, Central Drugs Standard Control Organization, and Department of Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals, Government of India.
